The Town Manager of the Town of Orange Virginia announces that the Town has received two bids in response to its invitation to bidders to submit proposals for a franchise for a fiber to the premises broadband network for offering broadband internet access to the Town of Orange residents and businesses and related infrastructure.

The proposals, now under review for presentation to the Town Council, were provided by the Orange County Broadband Authority (d.b.a. Fiberlync) of Orange, Virginia and Central Virginia Services Inc. (d.b.a. Firefly Fiber Broadband) of Lovingston, Virginia.
