The Community Development Department is responsible for current and long-range planning, administration and enforcement of the town's zoning and subdivision ordinances, updating the Comprehensive Plan and Capital Improvements Plan. The Department processes a variety of applications such as zoning permits, site plan reviews, sign permits, subdivision permits, special use permits, variances, rezonings and appeals. The Department also advises citizens and interested parties on matters concerning land development within the town, zoning laws and other relevant ordinances and laws.
